During last years spring semester, we had sixteen active members make the deans list! twelve of those members had a 3.5 or above. the other four members had a GPA of 4.0 or above.

This past semester as a fraternity we have really tried to take pride in our academic status. We started doing grade checks for those that are struggling a little more, we also started doing optional study tables multiple times a week. The study tables would be meeting in Lovejoy Library at a certain time and the brothers here at IL-Eta would get done any homework they may need to do, or have the study leader Benny Hernandez help with anything he could. The study tables have helped tremendously with getting our brothers grades up. It works the best when you have a brother who has taken a class already and another needs help in that specific class.
