As anyone reading this knows, we are in uncertain and unusual times as we await for an end to this pandemic and a return to normalcy. We pray everyone is in good health and doing their best to protect themselves and their loved ones. We at Illinois Eta are doing what we can to maintain what remains of our spring semester schedule following the precautions that have been put in place by the university and the state government. Unfortunately, events including but not limited to formal, parents weekend, and rituals have been cancelled or indefinitely suspended.
That being said, we are transitioning into virtual means of meeting and development in order to maintain a strong sense of brotherhood during this time of quarantine. We have held virtual executive board and chapter meetings through zoom to great success. Balanced Man Program and SLC meetings are being adapted to a virtual format in order to maintain the personal development of brothers despite these challenges. Many brothers have been keeping in touch by playing video games and have created a Discord server to connect brothers on all platforms. These are just a few of the many changes yet to come as we overcome these challenging circumstances in order to maintain our cardinal principles of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.
