This fall presented many new challenges to face in all facets of operations, and recruitment was no exception. We were caught off guard due to a last minute switch to a fully online format for formal recruitment week’s Meet the Fraternities info night, and struggled to connect with the already small base of freshmen interesting in rushing. Despite this initial setback, and through the continuous efforts of 365 recruiting, we have brought in an exceptionally solid fall rush class that we are proud to call our brothers. Introducing the newest rush class to Sigma Phi Epsilon Illinois Eta Chapter, is Delta Pi.
Starting off we have Joe Antonacci. Joe is a freshman majoring in Pre-Pharmacy. He knew joining Sigma Phi Epsilon was going to be very beneficial for his career. An interesting fact about Joe is that he loves traveling and has visited five continents. He is hoping to visit Africa and possibly Antarctica in the future.

Next we have Benny Hernandez. Benny is a third year who is majoring in civil engineering. He joined SigEp because he wanted to try something new to add to his college experience. A fun fact about him is that he learned how to start a fire after getting lost mountain biking.
The next Delta Pi member we have is Logan Carlisle. He is a freshman and has his major set as business finance. He wanted to join Sigma Phi Epsilon because of the instant bond he gained with the other brothers; he immediately knew this fraternity was the perfect fit for him. He also joined because of the high focus SigEp has on striving to be the best version of oneself. Logan is very musically talented, as he can play the piano and drums.

Introducing Anthony Boston. Anthony is also a freshman who is an electrical engineering major. Joining a fraternity was one of the first activities he wanted to get involved in upon arriving on campus. He thought it would be a great way to meet new people. If you ever need someone to golf with, Anthony will always be there.

Now we have Nick Braash. This Delta Pi member is a freshman who is majoring in marketing. When he first met with a few of the Sigma Phi Epsilon brothers, he loved everything they stood for. He is planning on spending his remaining years at SIUE in SigEp. Something you may not know about Nick is that he is a proficient juggler.

Blake Rentz is a freshman majoring in environmental sciences. He wanted to join SigEp to meet new people and still stay active during the difficult times. School has always been a strong suit for Blake as he was the salutatorian of his high school class.
Introducing Alex Cusac. Alex is in his second year at SIUE. As he is still undecided about his major, but he is planning on declaring by the end of the spring semester. An interesting fact about Alex is that he takes great pride in his health and body care; working out and eating clean is always a top priority for him.

Last but most certainly not least, we have Zach Sumner. This is Zach’s first year at college. His major is Forensic Psychology. He wanted to join SigEp because he was already familiar with a few of members prior to joining. He knew those were men of high character with outstanding attributes. A riveting tidbit about Zach is that he is that he loves to spend his free time in the outdoors.
