Although the current state of the world has closed campus, the Fraternity/Sorority Life Awards have still been announced virtually via Instagram and Twitter, and Il Eta did not disappoint.
Most notably, the chapter brought home the award for 2020 IFC Chapter of the Year. This was awarded due to earning the highest comprehensive score in the accreditation cycle and subsequent presentation, both of which efforts were led by brothers Austin Smith, Christian Freezeland, and Lucas Wood. The accreditation process itself is a way that the university checks and grades the performance of organizations through criteria such as risk management, inter-organization interaction, philanthropy, and member development.
The chapter also won the award for 2020 Friendship Pillar of the Year. This is awarded for seeking out opportunities to engage in meaningful interactions within our network as well as with peers, faculty, staff, and the community.
Brother Jacob Graham was awarded 2020 IFC Outstanding Leader of the Year. Jacob served as Student Body President as well as our Vice President of Programming.
Brother Ricky Beck was awarded 2020 IFC Emerging Leader of the Year. Ricky is our current Sigma Coordinator and was selected as a Hickman Scholar for this years Carlson Leadership Academy.
