Earlier this week Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a philanthropic service organization on campus, hosted their St. Jude Dude pageant and raffle to raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research hospital. This is truly an amazing cause because St. Jude will never turn away patients based upon their ability to pay. In a time where unexpected medical bills can spell disaster for families it’s good to know that there are organizations like St. Jude that aren’t worried about the money and just want to do the right thing.

Our representative for ESA’s event was a 2020 spring recruit, Mr. Cade Juenger. Thanks to his charm, good looks, and suit from yours truly, Cade brought home the awards for Best Personality and People’s choice. His special talent was putting on a lot of t-shirts in rapid succession and his superhero of choice was none other than Mermaid Man from the classic Spongebob Squarepants.
